Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Chiropractic care is generally considered a safe, non-pharmaceutical option during pregnancy when techniques are modified appropriately. Dr. Hamilton reviews your history and pregnancy so far to confirm care is appropriate before beginning.
Will you coordinate with my OB or midwife?
Yes. Dr. Hamilton is glad to communicate with your OB or midwife and welcomes a referral or clearance when your provider recommends one.
How late in pregnancy can I be seen?
Many patients continue care throughout pregnancy, with positioning adjusted as you get closer to your due date. Call to discuss where you are and what a visit could look like.
Do you offer anything for breech positioning?
Patients sometimes ask about the Webster Technique in the context of breech positioning. Dr. Hamilton can discuss what it involves and whether it may be appropriate for you, but it is not offered or presented as a guaranteed way to turn a breech baby.
